This might be one of the cleverest little projects in the roundup because the finished gift box isn’t merely shaped like a present—it can actually hold a tiny treat.
The texture comes from alternating single crochet with spike stitches, and the little lid makes it especially cute hanging from a tree. I’d also use these as reusable gift toppers or tiny packages for something like a piece of jewelry.

This one caught my attention because of the berries.
The holly leaves are layered together, and the little berry cluster is made with bobble stitches. It’s a nice change from character ornaments if you want something botanical and traditional without being boring.
